Voice is a student run listening and information service, run by students for fellow students at the University of Exeter and is available from 8pm to 8am every night during term time. It is completely confidential, anonymous and prejudice free, which means you can call with the confidence of knowing you can discuss anything you want without being judged.

Information: Voice is your university 118 service. We have a huge range of numbers that you would expect from a directory enquires service, but we also hold a wide variety of useful university information, including a list of university numbers. We have contact details for organisations as varied as electricians, Smoking Quitline and Victim Support. We can be rung for anything, so if you need a pizza delivery number, need directions home or have locked yourself out of your halls room and don’t know what to do, we can help. If you just want information, that’s all you will get, we won’t try to get you to talk about your feelings.

Listening: Our aim is to give students time and space to talk through whatever is on their mind. We are here for you to discuss anything you want to, be it something you have never told anyone before or if you are bored and just want to chat about your day. Voice is available every night during term time to listen between 8pm and 8am. So whatever your opinions, circumstances or beliefs, Voice won't criticise or judge you in any way. It is completely anonymous so you can talk without worrying about being recognised. You don’t even have to give your name.
